Virtual-Reality Author To Run Workshop At Library In Monroe

MONROE, Conn. -- Tom Bruno will be hosting "Technology in 3-D: A Hands-On Virtual Reality Workshop For Adults" at Edith Wheeler Memorial Library on Saturday, Jan. 23.

Bruno is the author of "Wearable Technology: Smart Watches to Google Glass for Libraries."

Virtual reality may may have a place in education, as well as gaming and entertainment. With a smartphone and a cardboard viewer, folks can begin exploring virtual reality.

Participants will be able to assemble shared Google cardboard viewers and try several exciting new virtual reality applications. If you have a smartphone, bring it and be ready to share.
