MONROE, Conn. -- Join the Monroe Police Department in supporting Special Olympics Connecticut at the sixth annual Monroe Plunge at the Park event at Great Hollow Lake in Wolfe Park.

The event will be on Saturday, April 2. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., and the plunge will take place at 1 p.m. 

Special Olympics Connecticut provides year-round sports training and competitions for over 14,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and their Unified Partners, who are individuals without intellectual disabilities who are the athletes’ teammates.
