MONROE, Conn. -- A series of tree and menorah lighting events are about to take place in Monroe.
One of these is the Monroe Women's Club Annual Tree Lighting on Saturday, Dec. 3 on the town hall green at 5:30 p.m. (Rain date is Sunday).
Also Saturday, the 14th Annual Stepney Tree Lighting will be on the Stepney green at 7 p.m. (No rain date set).
Then Sunday, Dec. 4 is when a Monroe Tree Lighting event, co-hosted by St. Peter's Episcopal Church and Monroe Congregational Church will take place, at 5 p.m. on the Monroe church green.
There will be a Hanukkah Menorah Lighting ceremony on the Town Hall Green Monday, Dec. 26 at 6 p.m.
All are welcome to attend these events.
