Stop & Shop Launches Own Coffee Brand With These 7 Varieties
Stop & Shop is introducing its own private-label coffee brand in days.
The seven new varieties of its "Taste of Inspirations" are Bold Barista, Cozy Cabin, Dawn’s Dance, Smoky Symphony, Sunrise Solace, Tropical Twist, and Mellow Moonlight (decaf).
They are available at the supermarket's 360 stores in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Rhode Island starting this weekend, in time for National Coffee Day, on Sunday, Sept. 29.
All flavors are made with 100 percent premium Arabica beans.

Man Killed After Car Veers From I-91 Off Ramp, Crashes Into Tree
A 37-year-old Connecticut man was killed Sunday morning, Sept. 22, after his car careened into a tree along I-91 in Hartford County, police said.
Daniel Adam Jeannotte, of Enfield, died around 2:30 a.m. when his vehicle veered off of the Exit 40 off-ramp in Windsor, Connecticut State Police said.
It's unclear why, but Jeannotte's car went off the left side of the off-ramp, over the shoulder, and crashed into a tree, authorities said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 49-year-old Maryland man was found guilty of gunning down a Connecticut father of three in 2020, authorities said.
Rashad Hardy was found guilty on Aug. 28 of murder, carrying a pistol with a permit, and criminal possession of a firearm, the Connecticut State Attorney's Office said.
Hardy was convicted of killing Ricky Newton, age 36, of New Haven, on Rosette Street in July 2020, police said.
