GREENWICH, Conn. -- Bill Clinton is scheduled to stump for Hillary in Greenwich as well as towns in Litchfield County on Monday, according to the Connecticut Post.

The 42nd president has stops planned in Warren and New Preston, despite polling that shows the Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has the lead in Connecticut over GOP opponent Donald Trump, according to the Connecticut Post.

Trump has said publicly he will put up a fight for the seven electoral votes in the Nutmeg State, according to the Connecticut Post.

Bill Clinton's scheduled visits are private fundraisers, but he's been known to pull out surprise public appearances, according to the Connecticut Post.
