A 24-year-old man was arrested following a warrant search of his Stratford home.

Travis Walton, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, May 7, following a narcotics search warrant execution at 15 Woodend Road, said Stratford Police Captain Frank Eannotti.

Walton is a fugitive who has avoided sentencing for approximately 3 years for weapons and domestic violence offenses, said Eannotti.

The warrant was served by members of the Stratford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit along with Patrol and Detectives.

During the search, officers found marijuana, packaging materials, and money, Eannotti said.

Walton was taken into custody due to five outstanding warrants with a total of $400,000 cash bond.

He was unable to post bond and was placed in the lockup. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
