Responding officers found the male victim with gunshot wounds upon arrival at Regency Terrace at about 2:20 a.m., said Stratford PD Captain Frank Eannotti. The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he later died.
A preliminary investigation revealed that two males were sitting in a parked car on Regency Terrace when they were approached by two males on foot, Eannotti said. The four exchanged words, and one of the males produced a firearm and fired at least one shot, striking the victim. The victim had been an occupant of the vehicle. The two males on foot fled the area.
