STRATFORD, Conn. -- The Stratford Police Department is down two officers with the retirement of K-9 Officer Thomas Clements and his partner Khan last week, according to the Stratford Star.
Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour said that Clements, who has worked for the department for 25 years, and for more than five years with Khan, decided that the two should retire together, added the Stratford Star.
The department will now begin looking to raise funds to replace the dog and hire an officer, said the Stratford Star.
