Man Shot In The Head In Bridgeport Crashes Car Into Ambulance

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A man who was shot in the head in Bridgeport crashed into an ambulance while trying to drive himself to the hospital on Wednesday night, according to the Connecticut Post.

Police told the Connecticut Post that the man may have been shot in the area of Connecticut Avenue and Stratford Avenue. Not much is known about the shooting, but police believe he may have been trying to get himself to the hospital when he crashed into an ambulance in the area of Central Avenue and Barnum Avenue, according to the Connecticut Post.

The crash took place at around 8 p.m. When police arrived the man was bleeding heavily from the head and there was significant damage to his car, the Connecticut Post reported. The man survived and was reported to be in critical condition, according to the Connecticut Post.
