Steven Spray, 26, was hit by an eastbound train shortly at about 1:30 a.m. Dec. 8, MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan told the Post.

The investigation into the fatal accident is continuing to determine why Spray was on the tracks, the Post said.

The train involved had departed Grand Central Terminal at 12:08 a.m., striking and killing Spray just before the Milford station.

The train was delayed about 90 minutes, and the passengers were switched to another train and taken to Milford. The scene was cleared, and the incident did not have an effect on the morning commute.
