STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford is losing its longtime finance director, according to a report from the Connecticut Post.
Susan Collier, who was assistant director of finance before becoming the head of the Finance Department six years ago, will formally leave the post on Friday, Oct. 28, the Post said.
The lifelong Stratford resident and community activist was praised by her colleagues, who used adjectives such as frank, honest and realistic when describing her handling of the town’s finances, the Post said.
Chief Administrative Officer Chris Tymniak will fill in for Collier until a permanent replacement is found, the Post said.
