STRATFORD, Conn. — A lawyer for the Stratford Stage Groups sent a letter Friday to the Stratford town attorney asking to reconsider an earlier decision over negotiations to develop the closed American Shakespeare Theatre, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Town Council voted in April to end negotiations with SSG due to new members being skeptical of votes made by previous council members, the Connecticut Post said.
SSG lawyer Barry Knott sent the letter to attorney Bruce Jackson, asking the council to reconsider since the company has been in trouble after negotiations ended, reported the Connecticut Post.
The Town Council will meet on Monday, the Connecticut Post noted.
