STRATFORD, Conn. -- The Stratford Library will be participating in Fairfield County’s Community Foundation "Giving Day" on Thursday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
This is a 24-hour online event to “Give Where You Live” and support the work of local nonprofits such as the local library.
Supporters are invited to stop by the Stratford Library to enjoy a series of innovative demonstrations of its new technology and services including various create programs such as 3D printing, photo editing, cupcake decorating, VHS to DVD conversions, badge making and more.
All events are free, open to the public and held in the library’s main lobby. Each contribution of as little as $10 can make an impact in 24 hours.
Organizations with the highest number of contributors also qualify to win additional grant prizes.
