These Fairfield County Eateries Rank Highest In CT For Best Mexican Food

Looking to escape the cold, wintry conditions and take your taste buds south of the border? Connecticut Magazine has rated these Fairfield County locales for having the some of the best Mexican cuisine in the state.

The results were compiled by a “panel of culinary experts.” Here are the Fairfield County eateries that made the cut:

  • Evarito’s, Norwalk: Located at 16 North Main Street in South Norwalk, Evarito’s provides a high-class and elegant atmosphere for diners to enjoy authentic Mexican offerings. From dinner and drinks to lunch, brunch and happy hour specials, Evarito’s has it all. Take your pick from freshly prepared quesadillas, empanadas, tacos and more.

Evarito’s Facebook page has garnered a near-perfect rating of 4.9/5 stars. Customers have tons of positive feedback to share:

“Love the atmosphere, al carbon shrimp tacos, homemade tortillas, lamb barbacoa tacos, and especially the enchilada suisa. Great cocktails and decor as well. And wonderful, knowledgeable management and servers,” Holly Sparlin Sergeant wrote in a Jan. 13 review.

  • Rincon Taqueria, Norwalk: Rincon Taqueria offers a modestly sized traditional menu that’s big on Mexican taste. Tamales, huevos rancheros, frijoles and burritos can be made to order. The locale has a 4.8/5 star rating, with guests complimenting everything from menu selections to atmosphere and more.
