Woman Critically Injured After Car Slams Into Tree On Route 15 In Trumbull A 27-year-old Connecticut woman was seriously injured Friday, Feb. 28, after her car careened off of a highway and struck a tree, police said.  State police were called to an area near the Park Avenue exit (Exit 47) on Route 15 in Trumbull around 3:45 a.m. An initial investigation found that the Bridgeport woman's Mazda left the road for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree.  Paramedics rushed her to Saint Vincent Hospital with serious injuries, authorities said.  State police urge any witnesses or anyone with information on the crash to contact Trooper Roberto Jua…

Stratford Woman, 40, Dies In NJ Chain Reaction Crash: Police A 40-year-old Connecticut woman died in a crash Thursday evening, Jan. 16 on Route 287 in New Jersey, authorities said. A Freightliner tractor-trailer, Honda Civic, Audi S5, and Ford F350 were heading north when he Freightliner struck the back of the Honda at approximately 5:40 p.m. near milepost 66.3 in Mahwah, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. What resulted was a chain-reaction crash involving the Audi and the Ford. As a result, the driver of the Honda, Lauren Kopko, of Stratford, CT, died. Police Asking For Help After Woman Found In Fairfield County Driveway With Serious Injuries Police in Fairfield County are asking for help after a woman was found in a driveway suffering from serious injuries. Ridgefield Police investigators said the woman suffered the injuries between 11:50 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. on Monday, July 12 on High Ridge Road between Catoonah Street and Griffth Lane.  The woman was found lying in a driveway with multiple injuries, Ridgefield Police Capt.
