Valhalla Players Head To Williamsport For Little League Baseball Camp VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Valhalla was well-represented on the baseball diamond this week in Williamsport, fabled home of the Little League World Series. Max Cavalo, Michael Ferrara, Brody McGuinn, Evan Parker and brothers Luke and Christian Ursillo traveled to Williamsport, Pa., from Aug. 2-7 to compete in the Little League Baseball Camp. Metro-North's New Canaan Branch Running Buses In Place Of Trains On Weekend NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Metro-North Railroad will provide substitute bus services between the New Canaan and Stamford stations for select trains on Fridays and for all trains on Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 23. Metro-North is changing the service to accommodate grade crossing work as part of the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s reconstruction of the Merritt Parkway bridge. Buses will operate 15 to 20 minutes earlier than scheduled trains. Metro-North asks passengers to listen for announcements and check local or express bus service to their destinations while boarding. YMCA Of Greenwich Marlins Shine At AAU Diving National Championships GREENWICH, Conn. -- The YMCA of Greenwich Marlins -- with help from a trio of Rye residents -- took third place overall in the women’s division at the 2015 AAU Diving National Championships. Devin Ott, Katie Laverty and Madeline Kenney of Rye paced the Marlins at the championships held July 18-15 in Riverside, Calif. Ott, 12, finished second in the 1-meter, seventh in the 3-meter, 15th on platform, third in the 3-meter synchro, and fourth in the 1-meter synchro.
