North Stamford's Little League All-Stars drubbed Orange, 12-4, Saturday to even its record at 1-1 in the Section 1 tournament. The team faces undefeated Fairfield American Sunday.
North Stamford needs a victory over Fairfield American to stay alive for a berth in Wednesday's championship game. Shelton American and Farmington are also 1-1. Orange is 0-3. The teams with the top two records in pool play will meet for the Section 1 title.
Sunday's game is at 6 p.m. at Shelton American's Little League site. North Stamford wraps up pool play Monday at 6:30 p.m. against Farmington.
