STAMFORD, Conn. -- A small gas leak prompted the evacuation of Hart Magnet Elementary School in Stamford on Thursday, according to the Stamford Advocate.
A small amount of gas was released into the building at around 2 p.m. Thursday when maintenance workers were purging a gas line on the roof of the school, according to the Stamford Advocate. Fire officials arrived and ventilated the area and made sure it was contained, the Stamford Advocate reported.
