Clinton will be in New Haven on Saturday, April 23, and in Bridgeport on Sunday, April 24.
On Saturday, the candidate will join U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-3rd District) and community members in New Haven for a conversation on working families and Clinton’s commitment to raise incomes as president. She will discuss her plans to raise the minimum wage and fight for equal pay for women and paid leave for working families, the campaign said in a press release. Due to space constraints, the event will be by invitation only.
On Sunday, Clinton will hold a Get Out the Vote event in Bridgeport. She will also discuss why she is the best candidate to break down the racial, social and economic barriers that hold families back, the campaign said in a press release.
The rally will be at 2:15 p.m. Sunday at the Harvey Hubbell Gymnasium at the University of Bridgeport, 120 Waldemere Ave. The doors will open at 12:15 p.m.
It is free and open to the public. Those who wish to attend should RSVP online.
These events come on the heels of Clinton's appearance Thursday afternoon in Hartford, where she joined Sandy Hook family members and other victims of gun violence to discuss commonsense solutions.
