Teens From Stamford, Norwalk Charged In Connection To Armed Robbery Of Juvenile

Two teens were arrested for an alleged armed robbery following a lengthy investigation by Norwalk Police.

Gabriel Banegas, 19, of Stamford, and Jeremy Jimenez, 19 of Norwalk, were apprehended by Norwalk detectives on Thursday, March 21, in connection with the March 11, armed robbery of a juvenile in the Colonial Villiage Housing Complex, said Norwalk Terrance Blake.

After a lengthy investigation, the Detective Bureau was able to secure arrest warrants for the two, Blake said.

Both were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and risk of injury to a minor. They are being held on $750,000 bond.
