STAMFORD, Conn. — Four teens were charged Friday with possession of weapons after being pulled over by police for allegedly running a red light on North Street, reports the Stamford Advocate.

While the vehicle was pulled over, Stamford Police saw the black end of what appeared to be a gun and searched the car, the story says.

They reportedly found a shoebox with a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun used to fire blanks, along with a BB gun.

Arrested on multiple charges were William Bonapart, 18, of Stamford and Erick Gonzalez-Saaverda, 18, of Bridgeport, according to the article. Two juveniles were also charged.
