STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford Police released a video of a suspect who threatened to shoot a woman's 4-year-old child during an attempted armed robbery on Oct. 17, police said.
The man pulled a handgun on a woman at 8:30 p.m. and attempted to rob her as she was putting her child into her vehicle near the intersection of South Pacific Street and Woodland Place.
After the incident took place the male suspect ran off east on Woodland Place.
Anyone recognizing this individual is asked to call the Stamford Police Detective Bureau at 203-977-4417.
This individual may not be from the Stamford area and may be transient, police said.
Although the video doesn't show the attempted robbery, the man can be seen walking with a handgun and later in a second part of the video he is seen wearing a red shirt with a lightning bolt on the front of it over a circle.
