The project is part of Charter’s national philanthropic initiative, Charter our Community, a program that seeks to improve 25,000 homes in the Charter footprint by 2020.
In partnership with Rebuilding Together, Charter our Community provides critical home repairs to low-income homeowners.
ARI operates several community living residences in Stamford and Ridgefield.
Alex Dudley, senior vice president for communications at Charter, said the project represents the nonprofit's second initiative in Stamford where Charter is headquartered.
"Our employees are thrilled to work alongside the Stamford Police Association," he said.
To date, the program has helped improve over 630 homes.
