Stamford Police Ask For Help To ID Car Theft Suspect In Video

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying an individual who was caught on video breaking into vehicles on Anderson Street in Stamford.

According to police, the incident occurred at 2:46 a.m. Oct. 15. In the video produced by the Stamford Police Department and posted on YouTube, the suspect is described as a white male, either bald or with a closely shaven head, and wearing a striped shirt. He appears to be going from car to car outside houses and rummaging through them. He broke a window on at least one vehicle, police said.
