STAMFORD, Conn. – Relel Domond, who was charged with murder in the 2006 shooting death of a 15-year-old Flanegaine Joseph in Stamford, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter Monday in a plea deal, reports the Stamford Advocate.
Domond, 29, was sentenced to nine years in prison, the report said. Held since his December 2008 arrest, he is scheduled to be released in 2019, the Advocate said.
The shooting death of the teen while he rode a bicycle triggered gang shootings over a number of years in Stamford, the Advocate reported.
