STAMFORD —A Stamford man was charged with shoplifting items from a Newfield Avenue pharmacy and punching the store manager early Wednesday as he ran out, according to the Stamford Advocate
Police told the Stamford Advocate that Garth Ragsdale, 53, of Hanover Street, was charged with third-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit robbery and larceny, following the incident at the CVS store. He was being held on $5,000 bail, said the Stamford Advocate.
The driver of Ragsdale's getaway car, Lawrence Nelson, 56, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and was held in lieu of a $2,500 court appearance bond, added the Stamford Advocate.
