STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford man was charged with second-degree assault after allegedly slashing his girlfriend with a knife on Tuesday night, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Recardo Williams, 39, allegedly cut his girlfriend with a knife several times following an argument where he ordered her out of his Greenwich Avenue apartment, the Stamford Advocate reported.
The victim escaped the apartment through a window and called police, said the Stamford Advocate.
Williams denied anything happened, but police found blood on his boxer shorts, a sign of struggle in the apartment and the knife used in the alleged assault, the Stamford Advocate reported.
