STAMFORD, Conn. -- Usually, people try not to let on to police about their pot. But not one Stamford man, who went to the police to complain that someone not only stole his marijuana but also took his favorite bong in a Thursday afternoon break-in, police said.
The 24-year-old Mead Street resident left his home at about 1 p.m. and returned at 4:30 p.m. and found his front door open, police said.
When he re-entered his residence, the man discovered that in addition to his glass jar of marijuana and bong, his four pairs of Air Jordan sneakers, valued at $150 each, had been stolen, said police Sgt. Kelly Connelly.
Connelly said there was no amount listed for the value of the marijuana or the bong.
