Hudson Valley Guns, Hoses Hockey Game To Support Deputy With Cancer

BREWSTER, N.Y. --  The Fourth Annual Hudson Valley Guns and Hoses Winter Classic Hockey Game will be held on Saturday at the Brewster Ice Arena.

Proceeds from the "CUP" will go toward assisting Putnam County Sheriff's Deputy Michael "Mo" Schmidt, who's battling Multiple Myeloma.

The puck will drop at  3 p.m. with the Hudson Valley's Bravest going head-to-head against the Hudson Valley's Finest. Admission is free.

Community members are urged to come out and support a good cause.

The Hudson Valley Guns and Hoses is an organization of firefighters and law enforcement officers of the Hudson Valley who, along with other community members of the Hudson Valley, New York work together to provide support and financial assistance to firefighters and law enforcement who are injured, sick or killed while in service.

The  Brewster Ice Arena is  at 63 Fields Ln., Brewster.
