Car Stolen In Darien Found Damaged, Inoperable In Norwalk, Police Say

A car that was reported stolen in Darien was found in Norwalk over the weekend, damaged and unable to be driven, police said.

A Wilson Ridge East resident reported to police that a 2013 Honda Civic was stolen from his driveway overnight on Monday, Aug. 16. The car had been left in the driveway the night before unlocked with the keys inside.

On Friday, Aug. 16, investigators were contacted by the Norwalk Police Department, who said that they had found the stolen Honda, which was found within their jurisdiction. Police said that the car had been damaged and could no longer be written. Detectives proceeded to the scene to process the stolen vehicle.

No suspects have been identified. The stolen vehicle remains under investigation.
