STAMFORD, Conn. – Vincent V. “Vinnie” Ricciardi, of Stamford, died Sunday, Jan. 24. He was 63.
He was born to Rose Curto Ricciardi and Victor Ricciardi in Stamford on Sept 2, 1952.
He was raised in Stamford, attended public schools and graduated from Rippowam High School in 1970, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He was a fixture in Stamford. He managed the Quarterdeck restaurant, worked at the Sitting Room and eventually opened the Patio Café in Stamford. He married Dawn Tripoli Rubino. Later, he started his own landscaping business and worked in wood crafting and as an antique dealer.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; mother, Rose Ricciardi of Florida; sister Joy Pagini, niece Courtney Dawson; one brother, Richard Ricciardi of Florida; and aunts, uncles and several cousins of Stamford.
A memorial mass will be held Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Schuyler Ave., Stamford. All are welcome to celebrate his life.
