STAMFORD, Conn. – John Bukowski, of Stamford, died Jan. 15. He was 86.
Bukowski was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Maniowy, Poland, to Antoni and Regina Bukowski.
He emigrated to the United States in 1960, working as a mechanic and auto body repairman.
Bukowski was predeceased by his parents, wife Katherine and son Joseph.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary, and Janina Miller, one grandson and extended family members throughout the United States, Canada and Poland.
Visiting hours are from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, with a funeral service to follow.
Interment will follow at St. John's R.C. Cemetery in Darien.
