STAMFORD, Conn. - Jeanne M. McDonagh of Stamford died Friday, Feb. 7. She was 93.
McDonagh was born May 17, 1920, in Linden, N.J., to Joseph B. and Retta Hopkins McDonagh. She was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II and worked as an office staff consultant for Christopher Shays.
McDonagh is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Calling hours are Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A funeral procession will leave Thursday, Feb. 13 at 9:10 a.m. from the funeral home and proceed to the Chapel of St. Catherine of Sienna RC Church, 4 Riverside Ave., Riverside, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will take place the following day at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14 at Calvary Cemetery, Middle Village Queens.
