Ida Arruzza, 84, Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. – Ida Arruzza, a Stamford resident, died Sunday, Jan. 24. She was 84.

Born on March 2, 1931, in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Umberto Nocella and Antoinetta Pimpenella.

She is survived by her husband, Vincenzo Arruzza; her sons, Joseph Arruzza (Mina) and Riccardo Arruzza; one brother, John Nocella; and grandchildren Amy M. Arruzza, Nicholas R. Arruzza and Jasmine N. Arruzza.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Jan. 31, from 2-5 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Feb. 1, at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Stamford.
