STAMFORD, Conn. -- Donald Anthony Robertson, 51, of Stamford, died Sunday, May 31.
He was born Feb. 8, 1964, in Stamford, to Gloria Jean Robertson and Donald Rush.
Robertson is survived by four children, Tavaria Adegbite (Clemence), Cherish Robertson, Josiah Robertson and Jordyn Robertson. He also is survived by his two sisters, Sonya "Tina" Robertson and LaTasha Scott (Eric).
Robertson was an active member of the community and affectionately was known around town as "The Elder." He could often be found praying for the sick at hospitals and nursing homes or serving food at the local soup kitchen.
He was a member of Church Outside The Box and North Stamford Congregational Church.
Robertson was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Boomer.
Arrangements are being handled by the Nutmeg State Cremation Society.
