STAMFORD, Conn. -- Carmella Bruneau, of Stamford, died peacefully at home March 28, 2015.
A beloved daughter and sister, she was predeceased by her parents MaryJo (Coviello) and Giovanni Battiste Guglielmo, brothers Frank, Joseph, James, Daniel and sisters Rose Scappatura, Jean Burriesci, and Kathyrn Sabia.
She is survived by nephews John Scappatura of Lebanon, Pa., nieces Marie DiPietro, Frances Bello and Kathleen Donatucci of Stamford and Lucille Sabia of Fairfield and a nephew and three nieces in California, Dan Williams, Chris Sparks, Jane Williams and Linda McGillicuddy.
Bruneau was employed at Sorensons Electronics in Stamford in her early working years and later as a waitress at Viscardi's Colonial Inn in Old Greenwich, Casa Maria Restaurant, Sabia's Open Door Restaurant and Newfield Pizza all in Stamford.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford (her 90th birthday). Interment will be private.
