STAMFORD, Conn. – Beth Pesiri Solomita, of Stamford, died Monday, Jan. 11 at Stamford Hospital. She was 47.
She was born Dec. 17, 1968, in Stamford, daughter of Dr. Ralph A. Pesiri and Patricia Moruke Pesiri.
She graduated from Sweet Briar College in Virginia and later received her master’s degree in art therapy at the College of New Rochelle. At the time of her death, she was employed as the admissions manager at the Childcare Learning Centers in Stamford.
She is survived by her three children Grace, Jack and Ava Solomita; their father, Michael Solomita; her brother, Mark Pesiri, and his wife, Diane; her sister Susan Pesiri Ekstrom and her husband, Carl; nieces and nephews Victoria and Samantha Pesiri and Magnus and Soren Ekstrom; her chocolate Labrador, Rudy; friends Susan and Patrick Smeraldi; and her best friend, Heather Leigh Studwell.
Family and friends will gather Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at The Church of The Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Solomita Children Education Fund c/o Attorney John Wayne Fox, 666 Summer St., Stamford, CT.
