Audrey Carolyn Clegg, 99, Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Audrey Carolyn Clegg, a longtime Stamford resident and a graduate of Stamford High School class of 1933, died Monday, Dec. 14, at Regency Heights in Stamford. She was 99.

Born May 20, 1916, in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Miller and Florence Tures Miller. 

She is survived by her son, Arthur T. Clegg and his wife, Midge, of Stamford; and two grandchildren, James Clegg and Heather Clegg, both of Stamford. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter T. Clegg in 1989 and her brother Ronald A. Miller. 

The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, on Thursday, Dec. 17, from 2-5 p.m. 

A graveside service will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, 41 Hecker Ave., Darien, on Friday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Carol Bloom from the United Methodist Church in Springdale.
