STAMFORD, Conn. — The Ferguson Library in downtown Stamford will soon be sporting a fresher, restored look.
Crews worked to renovate the library’s entrance Wednesday afternoon, which is no stranger to construction.
In January, the library celebrated the opening of a new walkway that made it possible for the mobility challenged to access the library’s Starbucks location from an exterior entrance. Before the library opened the walkway, the Starbucks was accessible only from the outside by stairs.
The walkway was the first phase in a project to create a new terrace and garden, where the community can enjoy a coffee and a book, the Daily Voice previously reported.
