Argument Turns Physical in Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn.— Three young Stamford women were charged with assaulting another woman on   Monday, Stamford Police said. The four began arguing over a “minor” issue when one began pushing and shoving another, police said.

Jessica Prosper, 18, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. Ronnisha Baker, 20, and Leslie Brown, 18, were charged with second-degree breach of peace for threatening, police said.

Prosper was held on a $500 bond, and the other two were released on promises to appear, police said. All three are due in court Aug. 29, police said.

? Jules Lamar Kierce, 20, of New Haven was arrested for second-degree failure to appear and violation of probation on Tuesday, police said.

? Mark Newell, 48, of Stamford was arrested Wednesday for failing to appear in the second degree, police said.
