STAMFORD, Conn. - Stamford EMS and the Stamford Paramedic Association donated to two needy families during the holiday season.
One family recently moved out of a shelter into their own home, and the other continues to struggle financially. Gifts from the orgaizations will bring smiles to nine children, ranging in age from 18 to one year old twins. One mother is pregnant and is expected to deliver in January.
“This is just another way to show we care,” said Patricia Squires, Executive Director of Stamford EMS. “We’re proud to serve the community in any way we can, and we hope these gifts will make the holidays a little brighter for these two families that have had a tough year.”
