STAMFORD, Conn. -- George Demacopoulos, a professor of Theology at Fordham University, will speak on “What Orthodox Christianity Can Bring To American Christian Politics” in Stamford.
His talk will be on Friday, May 20, at 7 p.m., at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Archangels in Stamford.
Demacopoulos will be speaking on the eve of the feast of Saints Constantine & Helen. The event is free and open to the public.
Constantine the Great officially recognized the Christian faith as a legitimate religion in 313, ending centuries of intermittent persecution.
The event is co-sponsored by Archangels Church and the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA).
