STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Stamford is hosting a Sunday afternoon interactive symposium called “Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream" from 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
The symposium is designed to engage the public on the crisis of ecological sustainability and spiritual engagement toward creating a new group of change makers to save the planet.
The free workshop will take place in the congregation’s sanctuary, 20 Forest St., near the Avon Theatre. For directions, go to the congregation’s website. Registration for the workshop starts at 12:30 p.m.
The interactive symposium developed by the Pachamana Alliance has been experienced across the globe. Its goal is to educate and engage concerned citizens on the crisis of ecological sustainability and global injustice facing our planet. The aim is to create new critical mass of activist leaders who want to work in their community for a just and sustainable future, and enhance our relationships with each other.
