STAMFORD, Conn. -- The newly formed Oxford Creative Center at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Stamford, will hold weekly Iyengar style yoga classes at the center beginning Thursday, April 21.
Held from 6 to 7 p.m., the class is taught by nationally recognized and internationally-certified yoga instructor Leslie Harris.
The cost is $15, and the class is geared toward beginners, so all levels are welcome.

Harris has seven yoga certifications, including advanced, pre-natal and therapeutic, and is a graduate of the two-year Iyengar Teacher Training. She was the director of St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Yoga Programs in NYC for seven years and instructed at Integral Yoga Institute and Equinox Gyms, also leading yoga and meditation retreats overseas in India, Australia and Costa Rica.
She has had an extensive private clientele, including Sarah Jessica Parker, whom she worked with for many years.
