"Since the traditional gift for a 10th anniversary is tin, we're already looking to invite visual artists to create tin centerpieces for this year's Business Supports the Arts awards breakfast," said Lisa Scails, executive director of the organization. "It's a banner year, but a banner year also means the Cultural Alliance must take stock of its successes and build a new, vibrant, and purposeful next ten years."

The following events and information sessions will be at @287 Gallery and Meeting Place:

  • Feb. 25: State Arts Grants 2017 Information Session at 1 p.m.
  • March 3: A Downtown Danbury Merchant Mixer at 5:30 p.m.
  • March 17: Art in Public Spaces Information Session at 1 p.m.
  • April 14: Making Great Art News! at 1 p.m.
