STAMFORD, Conn. -- Art & Soul Productions is presenting a Sunday afternoon filled with jamming blues and jazz with the Blues Farm Band, with special guest Bill Harris.

The show starts at 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets at the door cost $20, with refreshments at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 20 Forest St.

The Blues Farm Band is a gathering of old friends who have worked as session musicians for leading pop, rock and jazz musicians of the last 30 years.

Guitar player John Tropea had a career as a session musician in New York City and performed in multiple bands. He recorded with Laura Nyro, Harry Chapin and Eric Clapton. Vocalist and harmonica player Rob Poparozzi has performed with Dr. John and Bruce Springsteen. Keyboard player Pete Levin has played with Paul Simon, Robbie Robertson and Miles Davis.

At the concert, the Blues Farm Band will be joined by special guest Stamford saxophone icon Bill Harris, who has worked with pop and rock giants like Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Dr. John and Natalie Merchant. Harris also played for many Off-Broadway shows and is teaching music at the University of Bridgeport.
