Laura’s passion is drawing upon her 20+ years of corporate and nonprofit experience to help her clients grow their media presence, build audience and generate support.
Before devoting her abilities to Laura Roberts Marketing, Laura served as Marketing Director for two area nonprofit organizations, and as Staff Director in Bell Atlantic’s marketing department in Manhattan. She has experience in: marketing communications, market segmentation, creating marketing plans, managing projects, brokering media sponsorships, building sponsorship packages and developing marketing materials.
Laura’s greatest strengths are her creativity, drive and attention to detail. She thrives on challenges, especially those that expand a client’s ability to increase awareness and support. Her strong writing skills, business acumen and robust business relationships make her a powerful ally to any organization’s team.
Laura holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Fairfield University. In her free time she enjoys the beach with family and friends, and jumps at the chance to listen to live music.
