STAMFORD, Conn. -- Valerie Cooper, owner of the Stamford-based corporate art consulting firm Picture That, was recently presented with the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s Regional Supplier of the Year Award at the 2015 Business Conference and Expo.
Joset Wright-Lacy, NMSDC's president, presented the honor at the event, which was held in the San Diego Convention Center.
The win marked the second time in seven years that Picture That had been among the group of minority suppliers recognized by the organization.
The criteria for the winners of the award includes growth in sales and employment, overcoming significant obstacles and providing competitively priced, quality products and services that contribute to the growth and development of their communities.
