STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford's On-Site Shredding has successfully acquired City Confidential Shredding as of April 1, the company announced.
On-Site Shredding offers daily, weekly, and monthly route services as well as one-time purge services for both paper and computer hard drive destruction.
With 15 years in business, On-Site has grown organically by servicing the local communities of Fairfield and Westchester County, and will continue to service the clients of City Confidential Shredding.
"Keeping the privacy and safety of our clients is priority,” said Russ Liner who is a Stamford native and the business’s owner. “We started On-Site Shredding during a crucial time in our economy, right in the midst of 9/11. Identity theft, privacy and safety of personal information were on everyone’s minds and we had a solution. I am proud of the level of growth On-Site Shredding has accumulated over the years and thankful that our clients trust us to protect their privacy.”
On-Site Shredding is AAA Certified and works with both residential and commercial clients, with certifications from the National Association of Information Destruction; they range in destroying paper/print/media and hard drives in an eco-friendly way.
On-Site Shredding is also proud to employ some of the city's firefighters.
"In a world where the larger corporations are continuously buying out small businesses, this is a different story. On-Site Shredding has done the opposite in successfully acquiring City Confidential Shredding" Liner said. “It is unusual for the little guy, to take over a portion of a large company, and here I am doing just that because I have always believed in my roots.”
