Woman Wanted For Using Counterfeit Currency At Long Island CVS

A woman has been accused of criminal possession of a forged instrument after using counterfeit currency at a Long Island retailer, police say.

Police are on the lookout for a woman suspected of using a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase approximately $6 in merchandise and receive cash back at CVS in Nesconset (232 Smithtown Boulevard) on Saturday, Oct. 26 around 8:10 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are on the lookout for a woman, pictured above, who is suspected of using a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase approximately $6 in merchandise and receive cash back at CVS in Nesconset (232 Smithtown Boulevard) on Saturday, Oct. 26 around 8:10 p.m.

The woman is described as white or Hispanic and has a tattoo of a rose on her hand and finger, according to police.
